Approaches for multicriteria decision-making based on the hesitant fuzzy best–worst method

Abstract Hesitant fuzzy preference relations (HFPRs) have been widely applied in multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) for their ability to efficiently express hesitant information. To address the situation where HFPRs are necessary, this paper develops several models integrating with best worst method (BWM). First, consistency measures from perspectives of additive/multiplicative consistent (HFBWPRs) introduced. Second, developed view proposed additive/multiplicatively HFBWPRs. The main characteristic constructed is that they consider all values included HFBWPRs and same different compromise limit constraints. Third, an absolute programming model obtain decision-makers’ objective weights utilizing information optimal priority weight vectors provides calculation comprehensive weights. Finally, a framework MCDM procedure based on BWM introduced, illustrative example conjunction comparative analysis provided demonstrate feasibility efficiency models.
